Our teaching series for Sunday services we're concluding with this today is Unveiling the Mystery of Financial Fortune in the Kingdom, Unveiling the Mystery of Financial Fortune in the Kingdom. So financial fortune is a mystery, but we are unveiling it, so everyone gets to understand. Understanding the mystery of the covenant of financial fortune, Proverb 4:7, He said, “Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get what? Understanding.” He said, “Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: She shall bring thee to honor when thou dost embrace her.” “With all of your getting get understanding.”  It is understanding that makes the child of God outstanding.  Understanding makes you outstanding.  Everyone is a child of God. We have a level playing field; we are on a level plane. You see, but the level of your understanding determines the light that shines in your direction.  And of course, with light, the brighter you see, the faster you move.  Glory to God.  Proverb 8:14, it says, “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am under understanding; I have strength.”  Understanding has strength. Glory to God. Understanding carries power. When you understand what to do, you are powerful; when you begin to take those steps.

Now, years ago, God spoke to his servant, the apostle over this commission. He told him, he said, “My prosperity plan is not a promise, it does not answer to prayers.”  He said “My prosperity plan is not a promise. It doesn't answer to fasting.”  He said, “My prosperity plan is a covenant’” Somebody says a covenant.  He said, “Until your part is played, I'm not committed.”  What does that mean in summary? You cannot fast and pray for wealth. You can't fast and pray for wealth; to be rich without taking the necessary step in the direction of the covenant. Glory to God. So with that, it's important for us to understand what then is the covenant?

WHAT IS A COVENANT?

Covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath.

A deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath and that is for delivery. Psalm 89: 34. He said, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that has gone out of my lips.”  God is not a covenant breaker. He's a deal maker. God is not a covenant breaker; God makes deal. What is the deal? Business agreements aimed at getting results, profits. So God is not a covenant breaker; he’s a deal maker. Why is that? Because God is a businessman. You know, Jesus said, “How is it that you seek me? Which ye know that I must be about what my father's business." Matter of fact, God’s servant our father; the bishop calls it big time business. Why?  Because it pays beyond monetary values. Only God’s business takes care of your health. Glory to God. The world will give you health insurance. You know why they give you health insurance?  They believe you'll be sick, so that when you are sick, you can take care of your health. But God does not give you health insurance. What does he give you? Health assurance. You know it. Glory to God.

Hebrews 6:13, he said, “For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swear by himself.  Saying, surely blessing. I will bless thee.”  That's the word for someone this morning. “And multiplying, I’ll multiply these. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” You'll obtain it. He said, “For men verily swear by the greater; and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.  Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath.  I like this part. He said, “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible.” Somebody say it was impossible for God to what? “To lie.” He said by that, “We might have strong consolation, which has fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.”  Glory to God. God cannot lie. I said it sometime ago, I said, “When people lie, is because of fear of repercussion.”  One of the reasons is fear of repercussion, fear of consequence. What consequence will God be afraid of for him to lie? When people lie, they want to seek to gain favor. Who is God seeking favor from? So God cannot lie. What he says, he will defend it anytime, any day, glory to God. But I pray for someone that what will come to pass are positive things He has spoken concerning you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. So God is a deal maker, not a covenant breaker.

Also, take note that the covenant of seed time and harvest is gateway to the world of financial fortune. You are seeking financial fortune then you must have respect for seed time and harvest. In Genesis 8:20, the Bible speaking of Noah; he said that “Noah builded an altar of sacrifice.”   And when he raised that altar, the Bible said that God smelled that sweet savor, that sweet aroma of sacrifice and God made a declaration. Look at verse 21. “The Lord smelled a sweet savor and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse man or curse the ground anymore for man's sake.”  He said, “But the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite anymore every living thing as I have done.”  What will I do? God said, verse 22, “While the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest, 22, 22, 22, “while the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest and cold and heat and summer and winter and day and night shall not cease.” Glory to God.

You see, right now we are cruising into summer, right? Have we reached summer yet? Okay. But is it getting hot? Are you loving it? Okay. You don't like cold; you don't like heat.  You must like one. When it was cold. “Hey, it's too cold. It's never snowed in Georgia. It never snowed in Atlanta.”  I was laughing. They said, pastor, “Is there going to be service tomorrow or next week?”  I said, “What's going on?”  He said, “Snow.”  I said, “Where is the snow?” My wife and I, we were just laughing. They closed schools for that small snow. You know when we live in Canada; you’ll swim through the snow to go to school. They say, “If you close the school, who will live in Canada?”  Glory to God. Winter came; now, we are getting into summers; is getting warm. Some people are already complaining like some of my friends here. Don't complain. Enjoy the heat in seed time and harvest. Now the good news is when you see heat come and cold come, it is because God's covenant cannot be broken. The Bible is saying that only a situation or the devil that can break that covenant and prevent sun from coming or prevent the day from dawning. That's the devil or the evil, or the situation, or the entity that can stop your blessing from coming when you have sown a seed. Glory to God.

Hear this. When you give, you have committed yourself and registered into that covenant; meaning that you must of assuredly, unfailingly it must return to you. Glory to God. You know some need this understanding so you know that what you're dealing with is spiritual, is what?  Is not just physical. Glory to God. II Corinthians 9: 6-8, the Bible speaking said, “But this I say, he which soweth sparingly shall also reap how? But he which soweth what? Bountifully shall also reap how?  The same way.  He said, “Every man, verse 7, according as he purposeth in his hearth, so let him give, not grudgingly, or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver.” Verse 8, “And God is able to what? Make all grace abound toward you.”  Somebody say towards me.  He said that ye always, I like, this part of scripture is loaded. He said, “That ye, always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to what?  Every good work.”  Always having all sufficiency in all things. I like the combination. Always having all sufficiency in all things. That becomes your testimony in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

We must recognize that our seed is not a financial donation to help God; this is critical. Your seed is not a financial donation to help God, to help the church or to help the minister. It is to help you. Somebody says to help me. Why? Because every seed is a spiritual financial transaction. When you give, you must carry the mentality, the mindset that your giving is a spiritual transaction and it is bound to return to you. Glory to God. Haggai 2:6, “For thus saith the Lord of hosts; yet once, it is a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth, and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations and the desire of all nations shall come. I will fill this house with glory. Someone say, do it Lord, saith the Lord of hosts.” What will he fill it with? Look at the next verse. Verse 8 said, “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.”  This is what he's using to fill his house. Hear this; anyone who is uncomfortable with the prosperity of the church will have high blood pressure because the prosperity of the church will continue.

You know we have said it multiple times, Jesus is returning for a church that is reigning, for a church that is ruling. Glory to God. A church that is buoyant, that is financially buoyant, A church that is reigning. Say amen to that. And who is the church? Who is the church? Glory to God. Psalm 50:14 he says, “Offer unto God thanksgiving; pay thy vows unto the most high.”  Pay whatever you have made to the Lord. We are not ministering to the things you have, to your possessions to get it out of your hands. But the wise ones know when we deal with this, you see once in a month after this month, you probably won't hear us talking about this too much anymore. Nobody here harasses you for giving, give, give, and give. You don't give everything will shut down. Who said so? You are not helping God. You know, sometimes some ministers make some people feel that they are God's sponsors. God has no sponsors. If you make yourself God sponsor men, you are positioning yourself to die because you cannot sponsor God. Glory to God.

Luke 22:35, we see the scripture when Jesus sent them out. “And he said unto them, when I sent you without purse, and without scrip and shoes, lacked you anything? And all of them chorused, they said nothing.” We did not lack anything and they were not kidding. I said to you some time ago that Thomas was one of those that said we lack nothing. You know, Thomas will say it. If everyone, if Peter keeps quiet, Thomas will say, we lacked. I suffered. I didn't eat for 3-days, all of them chorused, they said, we lacked nothing. Glory to God. Your seed is a financial blessing. It's a spiritual transaction to lift you to higher levels. Glory to God. Romans 11:34, says, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord or who hath been his counselor.” Watch this, watch this carefully. Next verse 35, he said, “Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?”   Verse 36, he said, “For of him and through him and to him, are how many things?”  I can't hear you church. Are how many things? To him be glory forever. Amen. Glory to God.

You can't help God. You lack the capacity to help God. Acts 17:24 watch this. It said, “God that made the world.”  Acts 17:24, “God that made the world and all things therein. He said, God that made the world and all things therein.”  He said, “Seeing that he's Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.” Watch this. He said, “Neither is worshiped with men's hands as though he needed anything.”  Don't worship God as though he needed anything. “Seeing he giveth to all life and he gives what breathes and he gives what? All things.”  So don't worship with him like he has need. Somebody say, my God has no need. He’s your God, is the same God, the alpha, the omega. He has no needs. Glory to God. So every time you give, you are engaging a spiritual transaction for you and for posterity. Someone say amen to that. We see in Philippians 4:19, he says, “But my God shall supply how many of your needs? All your needs according to his riches in glory; not according to your riches, not according to your father's pocket or his bank account, not according to your friend. Some of us look onto men. According to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. But you see, before that would take place, look at verse back up to verse 16, He says, “For even in Thessalonica, ye sent once and again onto my necessity.”   Why? Verse 17. “Not because I desire a gift; but I desire food that may abound to your account.”  Somebody say to my account. So, every transaction you make, every given in the kingdom is to my account. Spiritual transaction to credit your own spiritual account. Glory God. You know there are some who try to withdraw from accounts where they deposited nothing; they make no deposit and they're trying to withdraw from it. Think about it. You try to make that, what is that called? The word begins with f; say it loud. Fraud to attempt to draw from an account where you did not make deposit. That's fraud. And no one else deposited on your behalf. No one of us who tries to do fraud with God. It's a dangerous thing to rob God. He might keep quiet, but he's preparing something. He's waiting to see if that fraudster will change. But if the fraudster refuses, you see calamity comes and it comes at once. Not for you. Someone say a loud amen.

WHY DOES GOD BLESS?

Now quickly, quickly, why does God bless? Let's look at why God blesses.

1. God blesses us to have us enjoy good living.

I thought I'll hear a louder amen. Don't we have people who like good living in church? To enjoy good living, a good life. John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, to kill and to destroy.”  But Jesus came for the opposite. He said, “I'm calm that they may have what? Life. And have life how? More abundantly; have life to the overflow. Glory to God. Good life. Live well, glory to God. It was the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory said, “With God, all things are possible.”  He said, “But with money, many things can be done.”  That's very true. And I told you some time ago that money reduces prayer points. You don't agree with that. It's very true. When you have resources, your prayer points reduce. Let me say this to you. It is even difficult to effectively pray kingdom advancement prayer, where you are severely in need. Glory to God. And when you are severely in need, kingdom advancement prayer, you won't pray it. By default, your systems, your mindset, your brain, all of your system will be saying, pray for yourself. If you love yourself, pray for yourself. Except you have some dimension of spiritual maturity to say, shut up Satan. I will pray for the advancement of the kingdom. You see? But when things are going well, when you have resources, when you're able to pay tuition, when you have eaten, you're able to eat well, your mind will work well, and then you can pray thy kingdom come. Without praying, give us this day our daily bread.  You see, give us this day our daily bread are some people's perpetual prayer. Every time they enter into their closet. Father, I have not seen it. The thing you promise, I have not seen it. Put it in my hands. God will put substance in your hands in a precious name of Jesus Christ.  So Jesus did not only come to save us, he came to give us abundant life. Somebody abundant life. That's one of the things he came to deliver. Glory to God.

I Timothy 6:17-19.  Please take note of this scripture; I’m going to read through it.  It says "Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded nor trust in uncertain riches." He says "But trust in the living God who giveth us richly all things to what?" Underline it All things to enjoy.  “That they do good, tell them that they do good; that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.” Verse 19 says "Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life." Glory to God. Wealth is not bad.  Living a good life is not bad. Glory to God Delayed gratification is wisdom.  Delayed gratification is wisdom.  Planning for the future is wisdom.  Right? So living a good life does not mean spending everything you have. Please know the difference. Before you said pastor Fidel said, “We should live good. You tell your husband; didn't you hear what pastor Fidel said on Sunday?”  He said, “We should live good life; buy another house.”  That's not what we're talking about.  Be comfortable, but even at that, live below you’re what? Your means, below it. It is wisdom. Don't live and in the night season, you have high blood pressure. Your AC is turned on but you're thinking of the debt you are owing That's not what we're talking about. Glory to God.

2. To establish his covenant of blessings.

God blesses us to establish his covenant of blessing.  So God made a covenant of blessing with Abraham. So, to bless you, when he blesses you, he's showing that he's a covenant keeping God. So long as you have done your part, your bit of the covenant.  Glory to God.  Deuteronomy 8:18 he said "Thou shall remember the Lord thy God; For it is he that giveth thee what?  Power to get what?  to get wealth." But why is he giving it to you?  Look at the next part.  He said, “That he may establish his covenant which he sware unto the fathers as it is today.”  So God blesses you to establish that he's the covenant keeping God and that he's the one who is able to bless.  Glory to God. Galatians 3:10-14, Christ died to redeem us from the curse of the laws. It's written cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree.  Verse 14, “That same blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles.” So that's why God blesses.

3. To promote his kingdom on the earth. To promote his kingdom on the earth.

Not everything God has given to you is for you. Please take note of that. Not everything God has put as resources in your hand is for you. Some of those are to advance his kingdom.  Glory to God.  I see us come to days where people will stand.  Some people will say, by God's blessing upon my life we are building a new church in Augusta. I didn't hear a loud amen this time.  Know if I said God is going to help you to build your own house in Augusta, you will shout a loud amen even if you don't know where Augusta is. But now, I’m saying God will put resources in your hand to say "Pastor, I'm building a church in Savannah Georgia and I want to give it over to church." Say amen to that. Glory to God. That's why God is putting resources in hands. Somebody say okay, where God gives me that kind of resources I'll build the church.  Start from where you are. Look at the church; it’s your father's house. Oh I think this kind of thing will be good here. Can I bring this? Someone met me; said, “Pastor, I want to do this.  I say go ahead.” Glory to God. Go ahead.  I want to do this kind of thing. I want to do this, that’s why putting resources in your hands is. Glory to God. Zechariah 1:17 says, “Cry yet saying, cry yet saying my cities.” What are my cities? My churches through what? Through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad. Glory to God. Hear this, the gospel is expensive; spreading the gospel is expensive. Glory to God.

I think I was sharing during Covenant Hour of Prayer; I was telling them, I said, “Look, they won't tell you because you are a church. So don't pay for this, don't pay for that. Or you say, I'm going to plant a church in the Caribbean and you tell them at the airline, I just need to go; put me in the flight. They say, where's your ticket? You speak in tongues. So because I'm going to… No, you pay. Matter of fact, when they know you are in a church, they charge you even more. For some who don't have understanding of spiritual things. And there are many of them, including some in the church. Glory to God. So God puts resources in your hands to promote his kingdom. Haggai 1:5-14, that’s a long read. He says in verse 7, “Thus saith, the Lord of host; consider your ways. Consider your ways.”  He said in verse 8, he said, “Go up to the mountain and bring wood and build the house and I will take pleasure in it and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.”  And look at verse 9. He said, “You look for much and lo, it came too little.”  Somebody say God forbid. You're looking for much. You're working hard. You are working five jobs. You sleep 2-hours only out of 24 hours. In case that is you, no one reported you. I'm just saying. Glory to God. You don't sleep. Some use different names. You use one name on this job. You use one name on this job.  You use another name.  I was in a church where a lady was using someone's document to work. I wasn't aware of it. She said it by herself. She came and said. “Pastor, it was so bad that I worked myself. I was so tired that when I got to the other job, they were calling me the name that is on record, which is not my real name.” She said, “I was just looking at them.” She said, “I was staring; they were calling Sarah. Sarah.”  I'm just using Sarah.  In case your name is Sarah, you're not the one. She said, “They were calling Sarah, Sarah.” Someone has to come and say, are you not the…? She said, “I'm sorry.” Why? Because that's not her name. Maybe you are working like that. Hear this; one job can fix you, one. You need one job. That's why today is Encounter With Destiny, one job that will free you to serve God.

You know, there is someone under the sound of my voice who wants to serve God, but they don't have the time. They don't even have time to sleep. Someone went to work and sat on the job because she has not slept. She said, “By the time the boss came around, she didn't know where she was. Her eyes were open, but she was sleeping.”  I didn't know that people can sleep with their eyes open. That's an advanced level of sleep. But some do it. I understand. Some do it. When you are fatigued beyond description. You can even be walking, but you're sleeping. Anyone under the sound of my voice being tormented in that dimension, you deliver in the name of Jesus Christ. Your job should not torment you. Glory to God. I said, your job should not torment you. But you see, if you use your time for God, he will fix you. One of our pastors shared a testimony with me, some strange manifestation. He said it worked. It came, the time that he was supposed to use to take some sleep, maybe one, 2-hours. They put a call to him that someone needed attention in the hospital, and the distance to that hospital is not less than one hour. And then to get from that hospital back to his job and to his house and then to work, it means he's going to run late. He's not going to sleep at all. And he's going back to work. He said that was tedious, but how do…? He say, no, “Pastor, you must come. You must come.”  He said, “He got in his car and he drove down there and when he finished praying for the person, anointed the person in the hospital, he said, “Lord, I don't know how I'm supposed to get back to work.  I've not even slept, but take control.”  He said, “He started to drive.”  He said, “Pastor, the next thing I knew, I was in front of my job and my hands was on the steering.”  He said, “I was vibrating. I didn't know how I got there.”  And I checked the time. He said, “I have 15-minutes left before work.”  And that was impossible, humanly speaking.  I said, “That’s divine transportation.” The Holy Ghost allowed him to sleep off and took him in the realm of the Spirit and transported him with his car. Miracles are still happening. Glory to God.

Seek first the kingdom of God. Everything in your hand, you are just consuming it. Me, my family and I, you say, I want to keep them for posterity. May you not have children who will scatter it for you in Jesus precious name? Fix the house. Fix the house of God, pay attention and then the prosperity… He say when you bring it, you bring it; I blew upon it, God is saying. So some of the things, the hardship, some are contending with is not Satan, is God. He said, “When you put it in your pocket, he said, I put holes, I put holes.”  So some carry holes in their pocket, put by God, leaking pocket. But I pray for someone here that leaking pocket is sealed. That leaking pocket is sealed in the name of Jesus Christ.

4. He blesses us to bless humanity at large, to bless humanity at large.

Genesis 12: 1-3, I read verse 3; it says verse 2. The last part, the latter part says, “And thou shall be a blessing.”  Did you see that? Thou shall be a blessing. Verse 3, the last part, as well says, “And in these shall all families of the earth be blessed.”  That's part of the Abrahamic blessing we're talking about. It's not to consume everything. You see, Abraham was not consuming everything by himself.  Remember, he was looking for opportunity. When he saw those men who were visiting, when God sent those angels to visit Sodom and Gomorrah, he thought, he said, “Come in, come in.”  He ran to Sarah. Prepare something for this one. That's who Abraham was. That's who Abraham was. So everything should not end with you. Some don't even have the heart to reach out to family. One woman told me, she said, “Pastor, you see my husband, one of the churches where I was pastoring, he said, he's nice to everybody outside, not to his family.”  She said, “He gives money outside to outsiders, but the wife is in lack; the children don't have resources.” I said, “That, man, the Bible tells me he’s an infidel.” He’s worse than an infidel. That's what scripture says. Start from your house. Glory to God.  So, this is what we call financial steward. Stewardship of the blessing. Now, you carry the mindset that everything God puts in your hand, you are only a steward of his financial resources. You're a steward. Who is a steward? The one who is keeping, taking care of something for the other and who will give account. Take note. In fact, stewardship is not complete without the fact that the person will give an account, every steward gives an account. So, if you have resources, see it that God gave it to you, you are his steward and you’ll give account of what he has put in your hands. Glory to God.

HOW DOES GOD BLESS?

Now, quickly, quickly, in the time we have, how does God bless? How does God bless?

1. He blesses through the works of our hands.

Somebody say the works of my hands. God blesses through the works of our hands. Deuteronomy 28:12, he said, “The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure.”  I thought someone would say amen to that. “The heaven will give the rain unto the land in its season and to bless all the work of thy hands and thou shall lend unto what?  Many nations. And thou shall not borrow. Glory to God. The works of your hands. That's one key way God blesses. Somebody says, oh, what is the work of my hands? Whatever you're doing. Glory to God. Then what if I work in organization, well good, he will bless the organization to bless you. That's why every child of God must have their own, the work of their hand. What you do for yourself. Am I communicating? Something that is yours. You work in organization; do something else; that is the work of your hands. Register a business, pray about it. Ask for direction. Register a business. That's the work of hands. Glory to God. You said, “But I don't even know what business to register.”  Ask God. He said, “Well, I've asked God, I didn't hear anything.”  What do you have passion for? What is your passion? He said, “The only thing I like to do is to braid hair. “ That's the work of your hands. That braiding of hair can turn you into a mega star. Truth. Braid the hair.  Whilst you are doing your job somewhere, braid hair. He said, “What I love to do, my passion is to cook. I love to cook. Once I'm cooking everything, in fact, I'll come alive.”  Then that's the work of your hands. Start looking for how to cook somewhere by the corner. Glory to God. But establish the work of your hands because God blesses us through the works of our hands. May someone locate the work of his or her hands in the name of Jesus Christ?

Psalm 1: 1-3, say “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law dot he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted where? By the rivers of water that bringeth forth what? When? In his season.  He said, “His leaf also shall not what? Wither. Glory to God. And whatsoever he doeth…Somebody say whatsoever. That whatsoever is the work of your hands. Whatsoever he doeth. Even if others despite it, whatsoever. So long as is the work of your hands. So the work of your hands can either be something that God has asked you to do or something you have passion for. You said. “I have not heard from God.” Then go for your passion. Go for what makes you joyful. You like to do it. Glory to God. What you will do, even if you are not paid for it. What you'll do, even if you're not paid for it. I heard a great football star who said something. He said, “He has mega millions in dollars, so wealthy.”  He said, “It's surprising to me that I'll be playing soccer and they're paying me so much for it.”  He said, “I can play it for free. I'm ready to play soccer for free because I love it.”  But they're paying millions for it. Go for passion. Tell someone, go for your passion. Glory to God.

2. Through divine direction.

God guides you. He orders your steps. Glory to God. Isaiah of 48:17.  He says “Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the holy one of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to what? To profit. How? Which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. There's a way for profiting. Not every way is a way of profiting. There are specific ways to get profit and that is divine direction. Glory to God. If the Lord is your shepherd like choir sang today, you will not want. When you are wanting too much, wanting everywhere, wanting. Watch, is He shepherding you or you are shepherding yourself? Many of us are our own shepherds. We shepherd ourselves. What we do is, we report our decisions to God. Oh Lord, I'm going to Colorado. Meet me there. You're not there. Bless me as I'm going to Colorado. Just bless you. Did ask him, should I go there to Colorado? Did he call you to go there? Some are in Atlanta. Did God call you to come here? The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Look at verse 21 of that scripture,   Isaiah 48:21. It says, “They thirsted not, meaning they did not thirst. They did not lack. It's not just about water, but everything else. “They thirsted not when he led them through the deserts.”  The desert is supposed to be dry, but he was leading them. He said, “He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; he clave the rock also. And what? Water gushed out. Glory to God. They can say land is dry, but if God led you there, it will be wet for you. They said, there's no business working in this place, but if God… by the way, this place is full of the blessing of God. So if he led you here, he'll give you access to the deep blessings in the line. Someone say a loud amen to that.

3. Through divine favor.

God confers favor on us. Psalm 30: 5-7. He says, “For anger endureth but for a moment in his favor is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh, when? In the morning.”  And verse 6 says, “And in my prosperity, I said, I shall never be moved.”  Glory to God. Verse 7, “Lord, by thy favor, thou hast made my mountain to stand strong.”  So favor leads you into prosperity. In my prosperity, I said, I will not be moved. Hear this, I said it sometime ago. If everything that comes to you is from your sweat, you lack favor. If everything that comes to you is by your sweat, by your labor, you lack favor. Favor enables you move in dimensions that you can't explain; it becomes a surprise to you. Glory to God. Someone is entering into that dimension in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Now, I touched base on this one before I move to the next point.

4. Through parental blessing.

Hear this; there is no substitute for parental blessing. There is no substitute for parental blessing. You see, when your father lays hands on you and blesses you, you can't match it with anything else. Glory to God. When your mother releases and says, you are blessed, the heavens respond to it. Why? That's your biological source. But unfortunately, there are many who have no regard for that. Parental blessing, especially in this part of the world. Back in the days, working in the secular was, one of my bosses was telling me, he said, “He met his friend and the friend said, they are discussing about your parents. He said, “Where are your parents?”  He said, “I don't know.”  Here in the US, where is your parents? Where's your dad? He said, “I don't know.” He said, “What?” Because the guy came from Africa. He was saying like, seriously?  You don't know where … is he alive?  He said, “I think so.”  He said, “So where?” He said, “The last time I saw my father was like 5-years ago.”  He said, “Why?”  He said, “I don't need him.”  “Are you quarrelling? No. So why have you not seen your father?” He said, “No reason. I don't have need to see him. We talk on the phone.”  Somebody say, God forbid. Don't carry a curse upon yourself by neglecting parents. Your own father. You've not seen your father for 5-years. He did nothing to you and you only call him on the phone. I won't pick. If I’m that father, I won't pick. Since you are only talking to me. Yes, stay there. Stay wherever you are. May your children not do that. May you not do that to your own parents in the name of Jesus Christ.

Someone came and told me, say, “Pastor, my dad did this; she was weeping in one of the stations. My dad did this. My father did this. My dad did terrible things. The father did to her.”  I said, “Forgive him. Please forgive. Forgive him.”  “But why?” With tears. I said, “For your sake. For your sake, forgive him.”  It was in the month of June. I said, “Father’s day is coming,  package something and take to him.” She said, “No, that's difficult. I can only call him and say…” No, package something, a gift to your father. Glory to God. Today, that lady,  young girl has a big job, huge job in an oil and gas organization doing extremely well. I said, “Listen, whether your father blesses you or not, but that thing you are giving to him, release your heaven, opens up your heaven because it’s spiritual. Someone say amen to that.  Genesis 49:22-26. Take note of God. Genesis 49:22-26 and Ephesians 6:1,2. That one they used to teach us back in the days.  “Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right.”  “Honor your father and your mother.”  He said,  “Which is the first commandment we promise. “ Why? That it may be well  with thee and that thou mayest what? Live long, where? Not in heaven. Live long here by honoring, obeying your parents in the Lord.

5. Priestly blessing, through priestly blessing.

When a priest like my privilege  self stand to bless you, we're invoking heaven upon you for your lifting. Glory to God. It's not entertainment. Whenever a priest stands to declare the blessing of God, we are declaring as privileged by God to stand and declare using the room of the high priest, Jesus himself, to provoke heaven to release things in your favor. The priestly blessings release covers as well to protect and preserve you. Glory to God.  Number 6:23. You see where God is specifically giving instruction. It says to Aaron and to his son, it says, “Speak unto Aaron and unto his son saying,  on this wise, this is how you'll bless the children of Israel saying unto them, the Lord bless thee, the Lord keeps thee, the Lord make his face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee, the Lord lift up his countenance upon de and give thee peace. This came directly from God. He say, bless my people like this. Why? So, my hand can be moved to bless them. Glory to God.  And you know Proverbs 10:22, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich; they are devoid of sorrows. Glory to God.  You will not see sorrows. You will not see shame in the precious name of Jesus Christ.  And when God blesses you, no man can curse you.  Anyone that attempts to curse you enters into conflict with God in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

Now, today is our Encounter With Destiny service. The good news is that everyone who is a child of God is a child of destiny. If you are born again say I'm a child of destiny.  Glory to God What does that mean? Your blessing is predetermined.  Your end is already predetermined from the beginning. Glory to God. Romans 8:29, he said, “For whom he did foreknow.” Foreknow  means to know before. “For whom he did foreknow,  he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of the son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. And verse 30 says,  “Moreover whom he did predestinate,  them he also called;  whom he called,  he justified; whom he justified,  he also beautified. So, he called you from the beginning to glorify you.”  When he called you, glorification was the ultimate end for you. Glory to God.  So, if you're a child of God, your end should be glorious. I said your end should be glorious in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

What kind of destiny has God given to us?

  • An enviable destiny.

Somebody say I have an enviable destiny.  That is after the order of Isaac.  Genesis 26:12,  Isaac went,  he sold in the land following instruction And the Bible said that same year he got how many folds?  100fold, in the midst of famine.  Glory to God.  Galatians 4:28 it says "Now we, brethren,  as Isaac was are the children of promise." Somebody say I’m   a child of promise.  Say it louder,  I'm a child of promise.

  • A prosperous destiny

Somebody say I’m a prosperous destiny. And know, there are people who say that those who are wealthy will go to hell, lie, lie, lie, and lie. Abraham was wealthy; he's not in hell. Remember the Bible said that Abraham died and was well taken where? To heaven? Lazarus died. He was poor and also went where? But he was where? In Abraham's bosom. You know when I thought about the scripture, I said, is it possible in heaven that some people might be in some people's boys quarter? Was in Abraham's bosom. Abraham was here. Abraham of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. Even if heaven, he’s still rich. Glory to God. Wealth is not contrary to God. Your God owns the whole world. He owns everything. Glory to God. And by the way, I told you some time ago that heaven has street paced with what? With gold.  So get used to it. Glory to God. You have a prosperous destiny. Somebody say,  I have a prosperous destiny. II Corinthians 8:9, “Jesus took your place. He took your poverty and gave you his wealth.

  • A royal destiny.

What kind of destiny do I have? I have a royal destiny. So I have a royal destiny. Revelation 5:9,10. He said in verse 10, “And hast made us  unto all our God kings and  priest.”  So you have a royal destiny. You shouldn't look beggarly;  you shouldn't look pitiable. You know some people enjoy being pitied;  they enjoy to be told sorry. Even when they have resources, they still pretend they don't have  and they beg around still; asking people, I have not heard your voice. I've not seen your hand. Seeing your hand in what? You should extend your own hand to someone else. Say amen to that. But it takes revelation of this key to accept our inheritance in Christ. Glory to God. If you don't know it, you can end in lack and want. That's not your testimony in Jesus precious name. I said, that's not your testimony and my testimony in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO ACCESS THE TREASURES THAT SECURE GLORIOUS DESTINY?

1. Be born again. Be born again. Be a child of God.

John 3:3-5, it says, “Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again, and he cannot experience the kingdom of God.” Be born again and remain born again. That's the key. That's the first encounter you must have to identify with any other encounter that brings prosperity. First encounter,  encounter for salvation. Glory to God.

2. Walk in the fear of God.

After you are born again, walk in the fear of God. Without that,  you'll be backsliding. Walk in the fear of God. Stay put in the fear of God. Genesis 41:38,  “Pharaoh said unto his servants, can we find such a one as  this is,  a man in whom the spirit of God is?  One in whom the spirit of God is. But Joseph was one who feared God. Genesis 42:18. He said, do this and live:  for I fear God.” Be God fearing child of  God. Everything  should not go. He said, “Just love God and whatever it is. Love  God, and fall for everything. No. Have fear of God. Make it a lifestyle. If you have falling before, ask God, I determine I will not fall again. Someone say amen to that. And take note also. Psalm 25:14, “The secret of the Lord is with them who what? Who fear him.”  Those who don't fear him, don't have access to his secret. May God show you his secret; business secret,  kingdom secret. Secret that will advance you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Finally, stay in love with God. Make up your mind to stay in love with God. How? Check yourself from time to time, am I still in love with God? Do the things of God still move me? Do the things of God still please me? Does what pleases God please me? Otherwise, renew your love, renew your love. Go out and spend time with him in the secret place to rekindle your love. Glory to God. But as the Lord leave us, God's prosperity plan will locate you. The wisdom to take those steps, covenant steps to move to dimension he has  placed for you, you have received in  the name of Jesus. Poverty will not be known in your lineage, in the precious name of Jesus. Through you, many will be blessed. I said through you and I, many will be blessed.
